    Produced by the Library of Congress, this series contains studies of 101 countries, with particular attention to current cultural details, values and issues.

    This is the online edition of an excellent source of information for over 254 countries and locations. Select a country and read about its current issues, geography, people, government, economy, communications, transportation, military, and transnational issues.

    Country Briefings
    The business journal, Economist, takes a slightly different look at current information about countries of the world.
