Reference Databases
A world of information available from your home!
Through the Morton Grove Library, you have access to dozens of databases of information, covering the full range of subjects. Some of these databases are indexes to magazine and journal articles, while others contain directory-type information. Many contain the full text of magazine articles or directory entries.
All of the databases listed below are available to all users within the Library. You can also use most of the databases over the Internet from your home computer if you have a Morton Grove Public Library card (see Library Card Identification Requirements for further information). Vendor licensing restrictions prevent many of these databases from being made available to non-Morton Grove residents remotely; if you do not live in Morton Grove, you may use them in the Library, or see if your home library subscribes to these or similar databases.
