    Government Action Sites:
      Federal Register
        The official daily publication for rules, proposed rules, and notices of Federal agencies and organizations, as well as executive orders and other presidential documents.
      GPO Access
        A service of the U.S. Government Printing Office, which is currently being migrated to the Federal Digital System. Make sure to check both locations until the migration is complete.
      Regulations.gov
        Your source for regulations and other related documents issued by the U.S. government.

    State & Local Statistics

      Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning
        Locate information on regional census, forecasts, housing, land use, and traffic for the Chicago-Metro area, including Cook, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Lake, McHenry, and Will counties. (Formerly Northeastern Illinois Planning Commission - NIPC)
      State of Illinois Statistics
        Current and historical statistics for Illinois in twelve subject areas from Agriculture to Transporation are maintained by the University of Illinois at Springfield.

        Aimed for the consumer, this site contains information and resources on legal topics such as divorce, employment law, money and finance, personal injury, and real estate. See a comprehensive list of all topics.

      Court Forms Search from the Circuit Court of Cook County
        Access printable copies of the most requested forms used in Cook County Circuit Courts.
      lexisONE
        Locate and access many free federal and state legal forms available in PDF format. You will need to complete a free lexisONE registration to access the forms.
      SmartBooks
        A collection of electronic books covering topics such as Adoption Law, Condominium Law, Medical Malpractice, Workers Compensation, and much more provided by the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education (IICLE). Search the Practice Areas or Product Titles for suggested topics.
      U. S. Court Forms
        Comprising both state and federal jurisdictions, U.S. Court Forms provides over 60,000 legal forms in PDF format. A useful tutorial guides you through the search process.
    Supreme Court Decisions and Federal Law

      Charters of Freedom from the National Archives

      CIA - World Factbook
        Find information on the history, people, government, economy, geography, communications, transportation, military and transnational issues for over 200 world entities.
      Embassy World
        Find the location of embassies and consulates around the world.
      Foreign Affairs Online
        This site was "designed to assist students and other individuals interested in International Relations, International Law, and U.S. Foreign Policy," and remains one of the best comprehensive sources on international affairs.
      RULERS
        Find historical lists of heads of state and government for all countries and territories, most dating back to 1700 and continuing to the current year.
      World Leaders
        Compiled by the Central Intelligence Agency, this site provides current lists of key government officials by country.
