  Alternative Local Computer Access and Training Resources

The Morton Grove Public Library offers many opportunities for computer access and computer training at the Library to its patrons. A full list of MGPL computer workshops is available in the Library's Event Calendar, where you can register online for workshops and other Library events.

For those who need special computer services, have special training needs, or are unable to attend any of the regularly scheduled Library workshops, the following alternatives for computer access and for computer training resources are available locally:

Alternative Computer Training

  1. Morton Grove Senior Center Computer Classes

    Description: Classes held from time to time; nominal fee-based classes for members and non-members.

  2. Niles Township Government Computer Program

    Description: Classes scheduled throughout the year; fee-based classes for Niles Township residents and non-residents.

  3. Maine Township Mainstreamers Computer Classes

    Description: Classes scheduled each month; fee-based classes for Maine Township residents and non-residents.

  4. North Shore Senior Center Computer Programs

    Description: Classes scheduled throughout the year: fee-based classes for NSSC members and non-members.

  5. Oakton Community College Continuing Education Computer Classes
    Alliance for Lifelong Learning Offices:

    Description: Classes scheduled each semester; fee-based classes for Oakton Community College District 535 residents and non-residents.

  7. JVS Computer Training

    Description: Free registration required for free classes in basic computer skills and Microsoft Office 2007 at varying levels.
