If your Toddler or Preschooler likes to make a lot of noise, this is the program for you! Drumming and dancing and joyful noises are all featured in this wonderful program tailored to young children and their families. Everyone will dance and selected children will try out a drum on stage. Be The Groove has a reputation for entertaining audiences in the Chicago dance and arts community and has performed at the Ravinia Festival, Northwestern, Old Town School of Folk Music and Dance Chicago.

Father Daughter English Country Dance

Registration begins April 11, 2008.

Fathers and their daughters will learn to dance just like Jane Austen did in the Regency Period style of the 1820s. These english country dances are surprisingly easy to learn and make a beautiful presentation. The beautiful period music is a delight to dance to and there will be light refreshments and tea. Period costumes are welcome but not necessary and you should definitely wear your dancing shoes. Registration is required and space is limited. For girls in grades 5-12 and their fathers.

Join us for a royal time with our special guest Marissa Weiler, Miss Teen Morton Grove 2007 and Dream Girls USA Illinois Supreme Royalty 2008. Listen to delightful stories about Princesses and have some light refreshments. Craft a stately crown and learn about the many things a Morton Grove Princess will need to know like how to have the very best manners, posture and how to always work hard and help others. Please come dressed up in your very favorite Princess outfit. Registration is required, 25 limit ages 3-7 years old.

To attend, register by phone or in person at the Youth Services Desk beginning on the stated registration date for each program. Some programs may not require advance registration; if registration is required, a registration date will be noted in the program description.
