Upcoming Special Events

On-Going Drop-Ins will run year round with no registration required.

Monday Morning Play Group
Tots of all ages & parents/caregivers
Mondays at 10:30 a.m.

Tots of all ages and their parents or caregivers can gather at the Youth Services Library to meet new friends, play and have lots of fun in our activity room. Drop-in in the Activity Room.

Wee Read Lapsit: Ages 0-24 Months
Newborn to 24 months old & parents
Fridays at 11:00 a.m.
4th Saturday at 10:00 a.m.

This program offers children newborn to 24 months and their parents or caregivers a chance to share time together to be exposed to language, books, and playful activities in a positive and supportive atmosphere.

Listen Up! Preschoolers
Preschool children & parents
Tuesdays 10:00 a.m.

Drop-in program for preschool children and their caregivers. Stories and activities selected to develop an early love of reading.

Chess Club
All ages
First Tuesdays of the Month at 4:00 - 5:30 p.m.

The Chess Club and Class has expanded to include all family members, beginners and experienced players. Drop-in to learn or play in the Activity Room.

Library Playtime
2 year olds & parents
Thursday 10:30 a.m.

For 2-year-olds and their parents, this is a shorter version of our Preschool Storytime which includes stories, fingerplays, games, and crafts geared to the toddler accompanied by a parent or caregiver. This class meets in the Youth Services Department.

Preschool Storytime
Ages 3 through Kindergarten
Wednesday 10:30 a.m. or
Wednesday 1:00 p.m.

Classes for children that give them the opportunity to experience stories, songs, fingerplays, games and videos in a group setting.

Stories 'n Stuff
Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd Grades
Tuesday 6:30 p.m.

This class is for children in kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades. It includes stories and related activities such as games, crafts, cooking or videos.
