Taran Wanderer. 1999. The fourth book of the Prydain cycle tells of the adventures that befell Taran when he went in search of his birthright and the truth about himself.

The Marvelous Land of Oz. 1985. Young Tip runs away from his guardian, the witch Mombi, taking with him Jack Pumpkinhead and the wooden Sawhorse, and flees to the Emerald City, where he learns the incredible secret of his past.

Dorothy and the Wizard In Oz. 1990. Dorothy and the Wizard are sucked into the center of the Earth, and together they make their way back to Oz, dodging grim perils on a hazard-filled journey.

The Road to Oz. 1991. Dorothy and the Shaggy Man inexplicably find themselves in Oz where they meet Polychrome, the abandoned daughter of the Rainbow, and a host of others on their way to Ozma's lavish birthday party.

The Emerald City of Oz.1993. The wicked Nome King, who plots to conquer Oz and enslave its people, prepares to invade the Emerald City just as Dorothy and her Aunt Em and Uncle Henry arrive there.

The Patchwork Girl of Oz. 1995. Scarps, the Patchwork Girl, is brought to life and the Munchkin boy Ojo sets out on a quest to find the magical cure that will release his Unc Nunkie from a spell that has turned him into a marble statue.

Tik-Tok of Oz. 1996. An army of girls headed by Ann, the Queen of Oogaboo, the smallest and poorest kingdom in Oz which has just 18 subjects, decides to conquer the Land of Oz and set up Ann as Ruler in Ozma's place. But Betsy Bobbin and the Shaggy Man decide to oppose them, with the help of Tik-Tok, a clockworkman.

The Scarecrow of Oz. 1997. Trot and Cap'n Bill land safely in Oz after the Scarecrow saves them from a dreadful fate in a great whirlpool, and they visit a cavern under the sea, where they meet a strange winged creature called an Ork.

Rinkitink of Oz. 1998. Prince Inga, a boy hero, Dorothy, and many other characters wander a long way from the Land of Oz before they all assemble in the Emerald City to take part in Ozma's banquet.

The Lost Princess of Oz. 1998. The giant Frogman fights the evil villian Ugu and searches for Ozma of Oz.

The Tin Woodman of Oz. 1995. With the help of Woot the Wanderer, Nick Chopper, who is the Tin Woodman, finds the pretty Muchkin girl to whom he was engaged before the Wicked Witch enchanted his axe and he traded his flesh for tin.

The Magic of Oz. 1999. The remarkable adventures of Dorothy, Trot, and the Wizard of Oz in their successful search for a magical birthday present for Princess Ozma of Oz.

Glinda of Oz. 2000. Ozma discovers in Glinda's Great Book of Records that the Skeezers have declared war on the Flatheads, and she decides that it is her duty to bring about peace. She and Dorothy journey north and are imprisoned by the Skeezers until Glinda herself saves them.

The following Oz books were written by Ruth Plumly Thompson after the death of L. Frank Baum. However, they are shelved under Baum.

Kabumpo of Oz. 1922. Kabumpo, an elegant elephant, Prince Pompa, and Peg Amy, a charming wooden doll, have strange adventures with a box of magic, and meet up with the wicked old Nome King.

The Cowardly Lion of Oz. 1923. An "Oz" book about the Cowardly Lion and the people who were hunting him down.

The Lost King of Oz. 1985. The King of Oz is lost and Snip, the little Button Boy, Pajuka, the goose, Kabumpo, and Mombi all help to find him.

The Hungry Tiger of Oz. 1926. Betsy Bobbin and the Hungry Tiger have exciting adventures with a new prince, a vegetable man, giants, and many other unusual characters.

Little Grey Men. 2004. In Warwickshire, England, three gnomes set out on a dangerous journey to find their long-lost brother, who left years ago seeking the source of the Folly brook, on whose shores they make their home.

Beaverson, Aiden.
The Hidden Arrow of Maether. 2000. When she runs away from her cruel stepfather rather than be married off to a follower of the evil Rane, Linn begins to discover her own special gift and wonder if she might be one of the lysefolk, followers of the Great One about whom she has only read.

Bell, Hilari.
The Wizard Test. 2004. Besson, Luc.
Arthur and the Minimoys. 2005. In search of a stolen treasure and his missing grandfather, ten-year-old Arthur travels to the land of the Minimoys, a tribe of tiny people whom he must save from destruction.

Billingsley, Franny.
The Folk Keeper. 2000. Orphan Corinna disguises herself as a boy to pose as a Folk Keeper, and discovers her heritage as a seal maiden when she is taken to live with a wealthy family in their manor by the sea.

Well Wished. 1997. In a time of dire need, eleven-year-old Nuria tries to outwit the magical wishing well in her mysterious mountain village.

Birdseye, Tom.
The Eye of the Stone. 2000. When he is pulled into another world called Timmra, Jackson finds he must fight the horrible monster Baen and unite two warring peoples, the Faron and the Yakonan.

The Magician's Boy. 2005. A young boy, working for a magician, suddenly finds himself in the Land of Story after he angers the magician. His adventures involves a variety of fairly tale characters but it's his last adventure that is the most amazing. (EASY FICTION)

Jeremy Thatcher, Dragon Hatcher. 2002. Small for his age but artistically talented, 12-year-old Jeremy Thatcher unknowingly buys a dragon's egg.

Song of the Wanderer. 1999. Having jumped into Luster, the land of unicorns, Cara makes a perilous journey to bring back her grandmother, the Wanderer, in order to release the Queen of the unicorns and allow her to die.

Jennifer Murdley's Toad. 1992. When an ordinary looking fifth grader purchases a talking toad, she embarks on a series of extraordinary adventures.

Curry, Jane Louise.
The Egyptian Box. 2002. Tee is happy to find that the ancient Egyptian box she inherits holds a spirit who will serve her, until she notices changes in her servant's appearance and behavior.

Dahl, Roald.

James and the Giant Peach. 2002. James is miserable living with his two cruel aunts until some wonderful magic seeds change his life and produce an enormous peach, which becomes a home for him and some oversized insects, and ends with a fantastic air trip to New York.

David, Lawrence.
Horace Splattly: The Cupcaked Crusader. 2002. When his little sister's magic cupcakes transform him into a flying, fire-breathing superhero, ten-year-old Horace Splattly has adventures that include confronting the monster at the school playground.

DeVita, James.
Blue. 2001. Seeking freedom from his restrictive home and school life, Morgan, using his own powers, becomes a magnificent fish- the blue marlin.

Divakaruni, Chitra Banerjee.
