Hi, All:

I just wanted to share an interesting take on a friend's TBR pile - She
contacted 30 people (friends, family, colleagues, mentors, past
instructors, pastor, babysitter, etc.) and had them give her a single
book title that they recommend that she read, with a brief explanation
as to "why." That's her 2009 TBR list!

I'm sure others gather suggestions in similar ways (plus all the social
networking sites out there for readers)- but this was the first I've
heard doing it this way and it sounded quite creative and meaningful.
