I have only just signed up for Fiction_L so I hope I'm doing this correctly.
We have a patron who is looking for a book about a man who buys some
property in New England and works to restore it. The only other information
he was able to tell me was that he was pretty sure the author's name was
male and that it may have been sort of semi-authobiographical but he's still
certain that it was a fiction book. He also said it was an old book that was
published about 40 or so years ago. I have tried searching on Novelist,
Books in Print and web searches on google. I haven't come up with anything
promising and wondered if anyone on this list may have an inkling.
Thanks,
Carleen Huxley
