As adult program coordinator at our library I thought a Scrabble
tournament might be an intereting summer event. Once per week a group of
32 patrons would meet divided into groups of 4, or however logistics will
work for comfortable team play. Has anyone attempted this, and if you
have, what can you share as far as patron enthusiasm,(is this worth
attempting?), prizes, day of the week & time, rules, etc. I want it to
begin in June and run through to August 17th which happens to be National
Scrabble Day. Please share your thoughts.
