Subject: Sci-fi moon archaeology title
Can anyone identify a sci-fi book in which an archaeology team on the moon
discovers evidence of advance civilizations, and concludes that people on
earth originated on the moon? The patron had no idea of an author or title
and had read it in the 70's.
Thanks,

This might be Inherit The Stars by James P. Hogan, which was published in
1977. It is the first book in a 4 part series called The Minervan Experiment
consisting of:
Inherit the Stars (1977)
The Gentle Giants of Ganymede (1978)
Giants' Star (1981)
Entoverse (1991)

Spoiler Warning!!! You might not want to read farther!
In the end of the book, the Native American character discovers what appears
to be a Pueblo structure in a ravine on Mars.
