Customer was referred to a text called "Death Comes to the Cumberlands." The
letter, from a publishing house, had that title in quotations and had
elsewhere italicized another title. This leads me to believe that it COULD
be a short story. Or not. No author or publisher info was provided. It is
supposed to be a "quiet story."
I found Night Comes to the Cumberlands, a well respected nonfiction book by
a guy named Caudill. No reference to "Death" in World Cat. Headquarters
checked the Short Story Index for me and I tried Bartleby and even Google.
Found nothing else.
Anybody ever heard of this thing? Dennis, anybody? ("Bueller?.... Bueller?")
I'm hoping someone can rub their magic brain cells together and find an
answer for my customer.

Subject: Richard de Clerc Novel
Dear Members of Fiction L:
Thank you for your help with finding a series featuring ancient Native
American tribes. I have another tricky question. My patron is looking for
a novel that includes the historical figure, Richard de Clerc. The other
characters are a woman in therapy who is hypnotized and her two brothers.
This is an older title as the patron recalls reading it in 1989. The main
characters travel through time via reincarnation and the lives of the main
characters criss-cross through time. Thanks for any leads on the book.
