I have a patron who picked up a book, MURDER IN THE RADIO DEPARTMENT by
Alfred Eichler (1908-1995). He is very curious about the author and would
like a more biographical information than I can find..This is the little
bit that I have discovered:

Lived 1905-1998
Wrote about 8 mysteries in the 1940's and 1950's
Published in england by Hammond
Published in USA by various publishers, but Arcadia House reprinted many
of his mysteries in the 1950's
Sleuth's name =Carl Knackman

Any further information would be appreciated.

Al Hubin wrote "Crime Fiction II : a comprehensive bibliography, 1749-1990."
If this is all the information he has, then there must not be much out
there.
