Trying to locate a children's book- a childhood favorite of an adult -
doesn't know title.
Plot:
Young girl is supposed to be babysat by the neighbor- neighbor can't
baby-sit.
Girl is transformed into a very small person.
She is the size of a bird, so she is adopted by a family of robins.
Remarkably, she can now understand and converse with birds.
They offer her worms for lunch. She declines and they offer
butter and eggs (the wildflower)
and she eats the flowers for lunch.
She attends a Bird Ball while living with the robins, but then sadly, she
has to return home to her family.
Anyone know the title or author or both?
