Thank you for your help with finding a series featuring ancient Native American tribes. I have another tricky question. My patron is looking for a novel that includes the historical figure, Richard de Clerc. The other characters are a woman in therapy who is hypnotized and her two brothers. This is an older title as the patron recalls reading it in 1989. The main characters travel through time via reincarnation and the lives of the main characters criss-cross through time. Thanks for any leads on the book.

Could this book be Lady of Hay by Barbara Erskine? The heroine relives a
past life and is/was interacting with 2 men (one of whom is King John) in
both lives. It's based on an actual incident (I believe) in which the Lady
in question and one of her sons was starved to death by King John.
