Years ago I read a book about a young woman who had taken over a family farm
and had given homes to "down and out" people. One of the people who come to
the farm is actually an angel who has been sent to help her. They end up
falling in love and he gives up his "angelhood" to stay on earth with her.
Any idea what this book is or who the author is?
I've tried to identify using the What Do I Read Next Database with no luck.
Any lightbulbs go on on this one?

I have a patron trying to identify a book she read about 5-7 years ago as a
hard cover. This is what she remembers:

The book referred to above sounds like a romance novel published by either
Harlequin
or Silhouette in the 90's, I believe. It might be Errant Angel or Angel
for
Hire, both of which are by Justine Davis. I will check when I get home.
Possibly a Silhouette Desire or Silhouete Romance.
The book that I remember has the owner of the farm thinking that the man
is an angel, because she never seems to see him doing things that normal
people do.
