I am searching for a book I read probably in the early 1970s. This book was an account of the life of Jesus Christ in novel form. One part of the book that I particularly remember is the description of Lazarus after he was brought back from the dead -- he had an otherworldly aura or something -- he was somehow changed by his experience (no doubt!). Hope this little bit helps. Thanks to all.

it is probably LAZARUS by Alian Absire
This biblical novel is based on the idea that after Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, Lazarus existed in a kind of "twilight" in which he was unable to love, work, or rest. Lazarus goes in search of Jesus for an answer to his suffering. The story follows him to Jerusalem, to the Temple, to the marketplace, and finally to. Golgotha.
