A friend at another library asked me to pass this request on:

A teenage girl is looking for the title of a book that she read several
years ago. It was a sci-fi paperback with a horse on the cover.

The main story involves a woman who when dreaming meets the man of her
dreams. He lives far away in the sea. She thought a horse came and carried
the woman under the water to where this man lived, which was a fantasy
world, but was on dry land.

She did not finish the story and would like to locate the book. She does
not remember the author or title.

Any suggestions will be appreciated!

Don't know if this is the book, but genre, covers, and dates match. Actually, a
two book series by Stephen Donaldson, The Mirror of Her Dreams, and A Man Rides
Through. Terisa definitely goes to another, fantasy world.
