TIA,
"The book is about an older or elderly woman whose husband has died. Her kids start digging up her past and find out she had a gentlemen in her past who she wrote letters back and forth to when she was young. The lady is a gardener and becomes good friends with a younger man (also a gardener), who the patron feels never ends in romance. The lady also does a lot of cooking in the book and is known for the herbs she grows. The book was read by the patron over 15 years ago."

I didn't get a response on this, so I'm trying again -- any ideas?
