Maude (1883-1993) : she grew up with the country / by Mardo Williams

spans the life (110 years) of Maude Allen Williams

The publisher describes Maude as living from oil lamps to microwave
oven, from
the horse and buggy to an automobile. She was the first of her Ohio
family to receive a high school education. This might be a good look at
the last century while commemorating the book group's 100 years of
reading.
