Last year STRICTLY SCIENCE FICTION was published by Libraries Unlimited as part of their Genreflecting Advisory series. This may seem like blatant self promotion but I sincerely believe that this is a terrific resource for libraries because Bonnie and I are both librarians and both avid readers of science fiction and wrote it with librarians as our primary audience. It covers science fiction that is still in print or available in libraries. The appendix of Award Winning Titles, Best Authors, and Best Works may just work for you.
It groups titles together by subgenres and almost all titles are annotated. The table of contents can be downloaded at http://www.genreflecting.com/news2.html
