I come to you on bended knee
For a verse about a bee.
(He thought it named "The Bee's Song")
The bee's supposed to fly along
To the hive, to pollinate.
If you can name it, that'd be great.

Thanks for all who responded with suggestions for the light verse about a
bee. It turned out to be E.B. White's Song of the Queen Bee, which is
actually quite funny. Our lucky winner was Barry Trott, my esteemed
supervisor.
