Here is the summary of Fourth Angel:
Georgia Skeehan is a rookie marshal with the New York City Fire Department.
When an inferno in SoHo devours a small building and consumes 50 lives, she
is thrust into command of the investigation. Georgia discovers the blaze may
be connected to three other unsolved New York fires, and to several eerie,
scripture-laden letters from a madman who calls himself "The Fourth Angel".

I have a young girl of sixteen who is looking for novels about
firefighters.
Adult or YA books would be OK. Any suggestions?

Daja is traveling with her teacher Frostpine and they spend the winter in
the northern city of Kugisko, where are the buildings are made of wood.
Daja, who is a smith mage, uses her talents with fire to investigate a
series of seemingly purposefully set fires, along with local hero and
firefighter Ben. Much darker than earlier Pierce books and better for
older readers.

"This is the latest installment in Barr's series of novels about park ranger
Anna Pigeon. Here, Anna travels "to northern California, where a forestfire is
burning out of control. As the fire-company medic, Anna is responsible not
only
for battling the blaze but also for handling cuts, burns, wounds, and whatever
else ails the brave band of firefighters. She's also the main security
officer,
which means that when tempers flare or violence threatens, Anna must cool down
more than the fire. That takes some doing after one of the men is found dead
with a knife thrust deep into his side. Being trapped in thecamp with no food
and a winter storm on the way unsettles the firefighters, especially since
it's
clear that one of them is a killer." (Booklist) "
Some might not think all of her situations are appropriate for teens, but I
think it would depend on the teen.
