I was was sitting down to lunch the other day and I had before me a
couple of Hershey's kisses, a cup of coffee, and a book. A colleague
sitting across from me said "Ah, at least two of the four basic food
groups." and I replied "Yes, chocolate, books, and coffee - Life is
Good." (I now that has nothing to do with your request, but perhaps you
could get some chocolate certificates to go along with the coffee.)

morning!).

We are going to give away coffee certificates to local coffee places
and
mugs with book and library quotes on them for our adult reading club
but I
need a clever title for the program. Any clever ideas out there that
combines coffee and books?

Here in Tulsa we call our program "Books and Bagels". It's a winter
program, and we do something very much like what you're talking about. See
further details at:

I would suggest "Awake and Reading". I don't know how clever it is, but it
does fit!

This assumes that everyone agrees that strong coffee is good and weak
coffee not so. In the interests of diversity I should note that some
of us prefer weak coffee (my wife keeps referring to mine as colored
water).
Of course, sometimes I'm in the mood for books that are thin and
weak too. But still...
