Dear Fiction-l
This is a request from my daughter. She is looking for the name of a young,
black, English female author. Her first novel was published a "couple" of
years ago and caused quite a stir. Anyone?

Alice Randall isn't British though, I think she is from Michigan or somewhere North....I remember her reading "The Wind Done Gone" and it was disapointing when she didn't have a southern accent. I think the patron must be looking for Zadie Smith.
