We have a patron looking for a short story that he read in junior high. The
plot involved a storekeeper who was being bullied by a whiskey wagon driver.
The storekeeper ended up filling the whiskey barrels with wood alcohol and
killed a bunch of people. I have searched the Internet using all kinds of
combinations of words, gone through Bret Harte and Louis L'Amour stuff, and
contacted the library service area who suggested that I throw it out to all
of you hoping that someone is a western buff. Any clues as to author or
title would be appreciated. Thanks, please reply to the email address below.
