The book takes place in post apocalyptic ( the bomb) America. The war was between the U.S. and Russia. The war occurred in 1992-94 so this book was written before that time because she remembers this date was considered the future at the writing. Two reporters walk through America talking and interviewing survivors. She recalls the book included charts or maps on the wind currents and how and where the radiation spread.
I've been checking but have had no luck. Can the collective mind do it again?

A customer yesterday asked me about a book that she has been trying to find
for years. She told me she has checked bookstores and other libraries and
has had no luck. Here is her discription.
