Can anyone help a feeble brain? I am trying to bring to mind a book that was
published in the last couple of years. A somewhat minor character collects
provisions from a department store in NYC after closing time and goes to the
roof. He barricades himself up there for a couple of days with his gourmet
selections, bottled water, and other items from clothing and household
departments. He shouts down to people below criticizing their wardrobe
selections and tells them what floor and what clerk they should see for more
suitable selections. Can anyone help me put a title to the book this is in?

Just read this one. Its part of Carol O'Connell's Mallory series and is called
Killing Critics. Yeah, where he is telling people, hey you in the plaid,
this isn't the 60s, is pretty fun. It degenerates pretty fast, because he
has forgotten any food. Just wine and coffee.
