To Fiction-L:

A patron is trying to locate a book she read as a
child (yes, another one of those!). She remembers the
story as a child lives on a farm (either living or
visiting grandparents). He wants to take a calf to the
fair but is too young so his father/grandfather takes
it instead and it wins a ribbon. She remembers the
scene of the child crying in the hayloft.

I would appreciate any help with this one.
