Romance Writers of America Booksellers¹ & Librarians¹ Day Event

at the New York Hilton and Towers
New York City
We are happy to announce RWA's Fifth Annual Librarian/Bookseller Event at
our 2003 conference in New York on Wednesday, July 16th. Space is limited to
the first 140 registrants, so sign up as soon as you can! The cost is
$25.00 for the day of workshops and includes lunch, as well as a special
Librarians and Booksellers Reception afterwards. Attendees will also receive
a goody bag with books and promo items.

9:00 - 10:00 am Back by Popular Demand! ³Women Who Win² by Nora Roberts
(RWA Hall of Fame, RWA Lifetime Achievement, and NY Times best-selling
author) and Susan Elizabeth Phillips (RITA award-winning and NY Times
best-selling author).
10:00 - 11:00 am "Saving Our Genre: This Time It's Personal" by Lifetime
Achievement and NY Times best-selling author Jayne Ann Krentz.
11:00 am Noon ³Happily Ever Laughter² by RITA award-winning and NY
Times best-selling author Jennifer Crusie
Noon - 1:15 pm Lunch plus special luncheon speaker: NY Times best-selling
author Teresa Medeiros.
1:30-2:15pm "Shakespeare in Love: From the Renaissance to the Regency
Romance" by Eloisa James.
2:15 - 3:00 pm Magic Spots: How to Display & Merchandise Romances in
Libraries for Maximum Reader Attention" by librarian Mary K. Chelton.
3:00 - 4:00 pm "Five Elements of a Romance Reader Friendly Library" by
librarians John Charles and Joanne Hamilton-Selway.
4:30 - 5:30 pm Librarians and Booksellers Reception (for attendees of
day-long program)
5:30 - 8:00 pm RWA¹s Literacy Autographing with several hundred authors
attending. Free and open to the public. All proceeds from books sold go to
support literacy.
