Can't think of a "choose among doors" story offhand, but a fine "hidden
choices" story is "The Three Marked Pennies" by Mary Elizabeth Counselman,
available (among other places) in August Derleth's 1947 anthology THE
NIGHT SIDE.
There's also of course the choice of caskets made by Portia's suitors
in MERCHANT OF VENICE.
