Harry Bosch novels

Is this it? Is this the end of Harry Bosch, detective? Has anyone heard or
read an interview that Connelly plans to retire Harry? Or, his Harry going
to go freelance, and we will get "Harry Bosch P.I." in the next book? I was
so upset at what appears to possibly be the end of my absolute favorite LAPD
detective series that I had to call three other Librarians (none of whom had
read the book yet) for consolation.
If anyone has any news on if there will ever be another Harry Bosch book,
please e-mail me. I am grieving, (and no, he doesn't die in the end).

Don't despair! This is from an interview on beatrice.com:
"By the end of City of Bones, you've put Harry Bosch in a position that
gives you a lot of options for what happens to him next.
Michael Connelly: I left my options open deliberately. The ending of this
book shakes up Harry's world a lot, but it isn't the end of Harry Bosch; I'm
about to start the next Harry novel now. And I felt that I should shake
things up for myself as well, so I'll be writing that book in the first
person, which I've never done before. You've become very familiar with him
over the course of eight books, but it's still daunting to get so fully
inside his head like that. "

You may want to check out Michael Connelly's website:

There's a lot of good stuff on there, including an interview of Harry Bosch
by Michael Connelly...only to be read AFTER reading City of Bones!
Hope this helps.
