Subject: Larger heroines?
Hi,
I was wondering if you might be able to help me with
an ongoing project I am working on. I'm compiling an
extensive list of novels which feature noteworthy
heroines of size, ranging from the slightly plump to
the largely abundant.
Would you by any chance recall whether or not you
have read any stories which might qualify?
Thank you for any help you can offer me. :^)
Sincerely,
~Jennifer Henderson

the old "A. A. Fair" detective stories, is a very large woman. (And

My review of this one was in the June 2000 Booklist. The debauched villagers
try to placate what they think is a dragon with a virgin sacrifice.
Gwendolyn is the only one fitting the criteria. "Her sharp wit and tongue as
well as her insecurity over her ample proportions have left her happily an
old maid." Fortunately the dragon turns out to be a gorgeous man who is
smitten by Gwendolyn and "he locks Gwendolyn in a tower room and pampers her
with lovely clothes, lots of books, and palate-pleasing delicacies."
