Renee,
I don't know the answer to that. You can look at the information for "A cry
in the wild" on the Amazon site and see if it matches your movie.

Subject: Re: movie made of Hatchet?
We also have a movie called "Hatchet" from McGraw Hill, c1987, based on the
Paulsen book. Is the other title, "A Cry in the Wild", a newer version of
the book?

Hi,
A patron thinks that a movie was made of Gary Paulsen's book Hatchet but
believes that the film had a different title.
Does anyone know about this?
Many thanks.
