Dear Fiction_Lers:

I don't know if this is an OK query or not - so I'll just ask.

I'm writing this email while wearing my romance writer hat, so to speak.
Several of my colleagues in Washington Romance Writers (a chapter of Romance
Writers of America) have expressed interest in contacting library-based
readers groups which focus on romance. Do any of you know of any groups out
there? They don't have to be geographically near Washington, DC. Do you
think such groups, if they exist, would welcome contacts from romance writers?

If anyone knows of such groups, please feel free to respond to me privately
off list. Email addresses/contact persons for any groups mentioned would be
greatly appreciated.

Binnie-I am assuming that your colleagues want to contact the groups to
network and try to sell their books, and/or to line up speaking
engagements. If that is all they want to do, I would think that the
readers groups would be happy to be in contact with them. I think the
first place to contact would be: Romance Writers of America or RWA at
www.rwanational.com. They can put you in touch with the local chapters.
