Pre-Revolutionary War/Colonial fiction question

Have a stumper for you all. I received this information second-hand
from the Reference librarian. This is what I got:
Patron has read books 1 & 2 in series. Cannot remember author
or title but wants to read book 3. What she remembers:
1. Publisher is either Bethany House or Zondervan, so book is
Christian fiction.
2. Takes place in pre-revolutionary/colonial historical times of the
USA.
3. Is about 2 women who swap children to save their lives. (And I
don't know if that the women's lives that are saved or the children's
lives that are saved, but I would guess the latter.)
We have ruled out the series "Of Saints and sinners" by H. Fickett.
Thanks for any help on this one.... BYE!

Thank you, Brenda (and also to those who might come up with the
answer on later posts)! Boy, what would I do without this group!
