Dear Fiction_Ler's,
I need help identifying a title and author. I think it was published within
the last four years. I'm almost positive that the setting was in the
Chicago North and Northwest 'burbs. The protagonist was a 30's-ish divorcee
with a large collection of some kind of pottery (I think) and an obsession
with attending and buying at estate sales. She is trying to figure out how
to make a living at this. There's at least one murder and suspenseful
scenes at antique barns. Please tell me you recognize the description.

This sounds like KILLER STUFF by Sharon Fiffer. Involves a divorcee in Chicago who haunts garage and estate sales and is especially interested in flower pots and relics of the past. Published in the past year.

is separated, not divorced and collects "almost everything", but the
rest fits -
