I am starting to plan this year's adult summer reading
program, and am just not creative to come up with a
good title. Any suggestions that you wouldn't mine
our library using? Thank you in advance.

I came up with the theme "Summertime and the reading is easy..." a reword
of a tune, "Summertime" from the musical "Porgy & Bess" by George
Gershwin. The main idea of the program is to encourage enjoyable, "easy"
reading. We will be offering reading incentives (prizes) for those
participants who turn in reading records; one of the prizes is a music CD
"The Great Songs of George Gershwin" which includes a track of Billie
Holiday singing "Summertime."
Let me know if you decide to use this theme; it'd be nice to have a
partner elsewhere in the U.S., we could make that part of the
draw/interest.
