Here's her description: Two titles in the series. They were very popular
books 3 (or more) years ago. One title has a picture of little girls on the
the front. They are set in the south. A group of women friends who have
been friends for a long time play cards and drink (and presumably talk).
She calls them "women's literary fiction."
Definitely not my sort of read (leaning more toward SF and mystery), so I
turn to Fiction-L for help. . .
