Hello All,

I normally lurk soaking up all the great RA advice, but I have a patron
with a difficult request. She is looking for a book she read in the late
70's or early 80's. She said that it took place on a war torn earth and
the characters used furry animals worn like backpacks known as Alices to
help them breathe. Does this sound familar to anyone? Thank your for your
help.
