Hi All,
A customer came in with a stumper of a question. She wants to
reread a fiction book, but couldn't recall the title. This is what
she
did recall:
The book was new when she read it in the early 1990's, set in
contemporary America on the east coast or New England area, the main
character was a Catholic priest who is reincarnated, it also
apparently
involved time travel as the priest goes back to the Italian
renaissance
era. It also has a romance angle with Catherine De Medici.
Does this ring any bells to you guys out there at all?

I'm sorry Kirsty - I checked my usual source - Gale's database What Do I
Read Next and had no luck. I also tried Amazon, just on a whim - sometimes
they surprise me, but not this time. I really wish they (we?) annotated
adult books like children's books - subject entries just don't help!

are these Ann Dukthas's Nicholas Segalla books? I believe he at least
passes himself off as a priest in at leat one of the timtles and the frame
story in volves a contemporary female grad student
