Our Library keeps encyclopedias for 4-5 years and purchases the different
titles on a rotating basis, so that one of the sets is always new. I do not
have a definitive answer to the question of how much is "new" in an
encyclopedia each year, but I seem to remember that it was stated some years
back as being less than 5% of the total.
