What I am wondering, is if other libraries have this type of staff
initiative as part of their performance measures or if you have any
ideas for something different. We want to continue to have staff focused
on RA and fiction and this initiative really helps.

I have learned a good deal about my own reading choices using this exercise. I have also received some great suggestions for further reading, and have discovered a new "favorite" author. The class stayed focused throughout the day (9-5), and the course received very high praise and good evaluations.
If you would like mre information, don't hesitate to contact me.

I am once again hoping to call upon the vast experience of this group.
We are looking for an RA focus for staff for 2002. For the last two
years, we have had staff write annotations/reviews of their choice, and
the year before that they produced a booklist and an "If You Like..."
bookmark.
