Hi folks,

I've got a patron who read a short story as a kid, but she can't
remember the title or author. She'd love to track the story down.

She remembers a few things:
(1) it is science fiction; (2) it's about a cat named Gilgamesh; the
cat probably talks English (3) there's a little boy; (4) she thinks she
remembers that the cat at the conclusion of the story goes somewhere,
maybe into space? (5) she thinks she remembers reading it in a juvenile
collection of SF.

That's it - that's all I got!

There's a collection of stories by Lloyd Alexander called Time Cat: The Remarkable Journeys of Jason and Gareth about a boy and his time traveling cat.
