Does anyone remember seeing such a survey of Christie fans? Does anyone
know of a story called The Vine-Covered Cottage that FirstSearch, The
Scribner Writers Series, Amazon, and our catalog might have missed?

A patron is looking for a Miss Marple story described as *the* favorite
among Agatha Christie fans. Unfortunately, she doesn't even remember
where she saw the ?survey? results, only that she thought it was
titled something like "the vine-covered cottage". She read Philomel
Cottage at my suggestion, but is convinced that this other story is
still
out there.

One Miss Marple collection on DVD (collection 2) has a popular review of
it that mentions carrying a leather suitcase into a vine-covered cottage
... I think this pertains to Murder at the Vicarage, but Miss Marple is
generally associated with such bucolic settings ...
