Subject: Similar books to Jane Austen Book Club
I am having a very difficult time trying to find books or authors with
a similar appeal to Karen Joy Fowler's "Jane Austen Book Club." Does
anyone have suggestions?

Try The Book Club by Mary Alice Monroe--five friends who meet for a book club all facing turning points in their lives. Not as witty as Fowler, but definitely has character appeal and also has topics for discussion at the end.
