Duke University has a good resource which provides some well researched
bibliographies and resources
http://www.lib.duke.edu/reference/subjects/gaybib.htm
The ALA has had the Stonewall Book awards since 1971. For more info go
tohttp://www.ala.org/ala/glbtrt/stonewall/stonewallbook.htm
For a list of previous winners:
http://library.christchurch.org.nz/LiteraryPrizes/GayLesbian/
VOYA also does review GLBTQ literature for teens quite often and I recommend
Geography Club by Brent Hartinger, My Heartbeat by Garret Weyr and Annie on
my Mind by Nancy Garden are good reads. I would also check out censored and
banned book lists since homosexual content has managed to get them on those
kind of lists for years.
