In September 2004, there was a nice thread on this listserv about 'books
and tea' and I thought it was time to coffee its due. I came up with a
brief list using Novelist (see below), but thought I'd put this out to
the collective head.
I'm specifically looking for adult titles ABOUT coffee, coffee shops,
coffee industry, etc. NOT interested in books with 'coffee' in the
title only, or those in the "Coffee-To-Go" series, or of "Coffee House
Press".
Here's what I've come up with so far:
Perk Avenue by Patricia Knoll
Coffee Industry by David Liss
Coffee and Kung Fu by Karen Brichoux
Bitter Grounds by Sandra Benitez
Twenty Blue Devils by Aaron J. Elkins
Coffee to Die For by Linda French
Ahmed's Revenge by Richard Wiley
Watchdog by Laurien Berenson
Memoir from antproof case by Mark Helprin
Annie's Rainbow by Fern Michaels
Kahawa by Donald E. Westlake
Fire in the Earth by Marcus McPeek Villatoro
Feast of Love by Charles Baxter
Greenfinger by Julian Rathbone
House of Java by Mark Murphy (Graphic Novel)
Queen of Dreams by Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni
Freedom's Ransom by Anne McCaffrey
Thanks for any suggestions you may provide!
