Hi, I have a patron who is looking for the testimony of a prisoner who
finds God, named Starr Daly. She thinks it was published a long time ago
in a book titled "Release." The only reference I've been able to find to
someone named Starr Daly was in the 1949 William Penn Lecture given by
Jean Toomer (http://www.quaker.org/pamphlets/wpl1949a.html). Otherwise, I
have been unable to find anything on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Books in
Print, and a general web search. I wonder if it might be included in a
larger collection of Quaker writings. Does anyone know anything about
this person or work? Thanks! Erin--

PS - Starr Daily is now on my list of coolest
pre-hippie-era hippie names, right behind the
name that appears on a plaque in the FDR era
Federal Courthouse next door: Director of
Procurement, Rear Admiral Christian Joy Peoples.Apologies - reply off list, I'd hate to see this
observation start a thread.
