Or how about chick lit/ vampire romances - Kate Macalister's A Girls Guide
to Vampires (book 1) and Sex and the Single Vampire (book 2) are both fun.
Mary Janice Davidson's series Undead and Unwed and Undead and Unemployed are
both humorous and have a sexy vampire and a woman fulfilling a prophecy.
Robin McKinley's Sunshine also has vampires and a woman with magical
abilities - but they don't end up together (possibly 1st in series?)
Jude Deveraux recently wrote 3 books (not sure if she's done): Forever,
Forever and Always, and Always - about a woman with psychic abilities. The
first book even has a magic mirror.
